My Simple Mompreneur Routine
Here's how I make it work without sacrificing family time:
- Time Blocking: I don't try to do everything at once. I schedule specific blocks for printing, binding, and packing. Example: When the kids are having their learning or activity time, I do my cutting and binding.
- Batch Processing: Mas mabilis if you do tasks in batches. Print all inner pages on Monday. Laminate all covers on Tuesday. Bind everything on Wednesday. This reduces the mental load!
- Involve the Kids (Safely!): While I handle the dangerous tools like the ream cutter, I let my kids help with safe tasks like organizing pages or putting stickers on bubble wrap. It becomes a fun family activity.
- Set Boundaries: Kapag tapos na ang work hours ko, tapos na. I put away the crafting tools and focus 100% on being a mom.
What a Big Order Really Looks Like
In the video above, you will see me working through one hundred orders. It is not glamorous. Some days sobrang kalat ng workspace ko, and some nights run late. But because the work is batched, I never panic: I know which day is for printing, which day is for binding, and when everything gets packed. So when a big order comes your way, do not be afraid to accept it. Just split it across days, exactly like I do.
You don't need 8 straight hours to run a business. Pwede kang kumita by just dedicating 2 to 3 focused hours a day. It is totally doable!
